SafeConnect Supports macOS 10.14 Mojave on Day of Release

Tampa, Florida – September 28, 2018—Impulse Point, a leading provider of Contextual Intelligence™ and network access control solutions, announces that SafeConnect fully supports macOS 10.14 Mojave.

SafeConnect users who upgraded since the operating system’s release on September 24 or have yet to upgrade are recognized and supported without end user disruption. Impulse is part of the Apple developer seed program and monitored macOS Mojave since its early beta builds for feedback from Mojave’s early adaptors. Impulse certified support and provided necessary enhancements within 48-hours of Apple’s release.

“When a new Operating System is announced by Microsoft, Apple, and others, Impulse works quickly to attain a beta edition of the new operating system from the respective vendor. We then work to validate SafeConnect and the Policy Key against the beta version released throughout the pre-release lifecycle,” said Austin Sasko, Customer Support Engineer III. “Once the beta release becomes a production release, we then validate against this new production version released by the vendor to ensure compatibility throughout the entire release cycle and to ensure that end users are able to upgrade their systems without worry of compatibility issues with SafeConnect.”

Thanks to Impulse’s proactivity, SafeConnect owners can create new policies surrounding macOS 10.14 or leave their networks configured as they are without fear of disruption. This allows SafeConnect’s benefits to complement the new operating system’s features all while operating with the same efficiency as for previous Mac operating systems. Apple is distributing macOS 10.14 Mojave free for Mac users meeting some general requirements with compatible hardware.
