SafeConnect Supports Windows 10 on Day of Release

Tampa, Florida — July 22, 2015 — Impulse, the leading provider of Contextual Intelligence™ and access control solutions in support of BYOD-friendly enterprises, announces that SafeConnect has fully supported the Windows 10 preview since the developer release became available. Impulse is a member of the Windows Inside Program.

Impulse users upgrading to Windows 10 on July 29 (official release date of the new software) will be immediately recognized and fully supported by SafeConnect without any end user disruption.

Impulse will recertify support against the official release build and provide any necessary enhancements within 48 hours of Microsoft’s release. SafeConnect™ is supported by the BYOD industry’s leading maintenance and support agreement, which includes a 48-hour Service Level Agreement (SLA) for recognition of new devices, operating systems, and endpoint security software.

Windows 10 is designed to adapt its user interface based on the type of device being used, offering two separate modes: one optimized for mouse and keyboard and a tablet mode designed for touchscreens. As a result, desktop users moving from Windows 7 will find an enhanced, but much more comfortable and familiar experience, which was not the case for many using Windows 8.” says Kirk Anderson, Customer Support Manager at Impulse.
